COMPUTER RETRO'

Last Review: 05-09-2008

The man, since computers are been invented, has always tried to reduce the its size, for transporting, storing, using PC in a better way.
At the beginning first computers were built inside a room or housed in containers, whith the invection of the transistor in 1947 and the integrated circuit in 1958, quickliy appear macchines very smallest and storable in little spaces. From that moment on, the human fantasy and genius created the most amazing shapes and solution. What will you find here is my personal collection of portable computers.

I propose some links about computer history:

The following computer forms, listed below, are concerning my own units beeing part of my collection, some caracteristics differ from the original factory due to changes and upgrades during the life of machine.
Almost all units (over 20) are fully working without problems.
The photos collection is work in progress, not all macchines have a photo gallery.
Each unit also has a small section (a little maniacal) about sounds emitted by machine during the work.
The order of table is by year of production.
