Olivetti M10 - ENG

This machine is a marvel of technology, when it came out it caused a sensation for its size and for its ability to interface with recorders to save data. He was also able to use modems for data transmission. In his day, the competition built huge and very heavy machines.
The presence of BASIC then made it particularly flexible and customizable.
The fact that I personally found it on top of a rubbish container working as a volunteer for Mani Tese in Verbania many years ago, increases my personal amazement for this machine, moreover that it works perfectly!!!
Its memory can be expanded, an external bus can be used, and the battery compartment has a switch to turn it on.
There is a reset button on the back.
The monitor can be reclined for better visibility, on the monitor there is a small LED to indicate the end of the battery charge. On the right side of the machine is a dial for monitor contrast.
The power switch is on the bottom of the machine.
The machine has no waiting times at startup, you push the switch and the machine is on and operational in about a second. What modern computer manages to have such a speed, even in standby?
The battery compartment has its own activation switch.
The NUM LOCK key and SHIFT LOCK key mechanically stay down when engaged and return when disengaged, making a very pleasant, mechanical noise.
